The Workforce & Economic Mobility pillar is designed to expand access to sustainable income, industry recognized credentials, and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth, and families. Through hands-on workforce development and real world skill building, participants are equipped with the tools needed to secure employment, advance professionally.

SERVICES

This pillar supports individuals at key transition points who are seeking stability, direction, and upward mobility, including:

  • Youth and young adults ages 15–24 from underserved and marginalized communities.

​

  • Parents and guardians seeking workforce advancement and financial literacy.

​

  • Justice involved individuals preparing to reenter the workforce.

​

  • Young adults seeking career direction, skill development, or entrepreneurship support.

Our approach emphasizes access, accountability, and long-term sustainability through:

  • Direct connections to internships, job opportunities, apprenticeships, and mentors.

  • Trauma informed and culturally responsive programming that meets participants where they are.

  • Resume Development & Interview Preparation -Hands-on support to create competitive interview techniques that strengthen confidence and job readiness.

  • Soft Skills & Professional Etiquette - Training focused on communication, teamwork, time management, accountability, and workplace professionalism.

  • Career Exploration & Industry Exposure - Participants are introduced to high demand career pathways,including. Skilled Trades (HVAC, Electrical, Construction)

  • Technology and Digital Skills-Equipping individuals with essential technology skills to navigate today’s digital world with confidence. This focus area builds practical knowledge in computer literacy, online communication, digital tools, and responsible technology use, preparing participants for school, work, and everyday life in an increasingly tech-driven society.

  • Apprenticeship & Certification Pathways- Partnerships with training providers connect participants to industry-recognized certifications such as OSHA, Forklift, ServSafe, IT credentials, and other workforce certifications.

​

  • Financial Literacy Education - Instruction in budgeting, credit building, saving, investing, and informed financial decision-making.
